The Indian cricket team has included wrist spinner Ravi Bishnoi in their playing XI for the third T20I against Bangladesh on Saturday, October 12, at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. India leads the T20I series 2-0 after consecutive victories in Gwalior and Delhi, under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav.
Following the last match, Suryakumar Yadav indicated that the team aims to test their bench strength in this final T20I. Initially, the plan was to include Harshit Rana in the playing XI; however, he has been sidelined due to a viral infection. Consequently, Ravi Bishnoi was chosen by the Indian team management, with left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh being rested.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced, “Mr. Harshit Rana was unavailable for selection for the third T20I due to a viral infection and did not travel with the team to the stadium,” via their official X handle.
