The Sindh government has announced plans for an expressway connecting Karachi Port to Jam Sadiq Bridge, providing direct access to the M9 Motorway. The project aims to reduce traffic and improve connectivity.
The plan was approved at the 45th meeting of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Board, led by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. He asked the Local Government Department to finalize the expressway plans, with the name still to be decided.
The expressway will start at KP Terminal and link to the Malir Expressway at Jam Sadiq Bridge, giving port traffic direct access to the Motorway.
