Shehbaz Sharif Highlights Priority of Top-Class Diplomatic Facilities in Islamabad

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the priority of providing top-of-the-line facilities to the diplomatic community, underscoring it as a key goal of his administration. During his Saturday visit to the Cascade Police Service Centre in Islamabad’s diplomatic enclave, PM Shehbaz spotlighted the advanced services introduced to support foreign diplomats and officials in Pakistan.

The Cascade Police Service Centre, a state-of-the-art facility, offers high-standard amenities designed to meet the evolving needs of the diplomatic community. PM Shehbaz commended Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for initiating this high-level center, which aligns with international standards to cater to diplomats and foreign nationals.

Inspector General of Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi briefed the Prime Minister on the services provided at the Cascade Police Service Centre. Services offered include issuance and renewal of driving licenses, character certificates, police verifications, lost item reporting, tenant registration, foreigner registration, domestic worker registration, volunteer registration, vehicle verification, and access to copies of FIRs.

Notable attendees included Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who expressed their support for this significant advancement in diplomatic services.

In a separate event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the crucial role of information officers in enhancing transparency and trust between the government and the public. Speaking to probationary officers of the Information Service from Pakistan’s 51st Common Training Programme, he commended their commitment to fostering clear communication with the public.
