iPhone 17 Pro Leak Shows Sleek Single-Tone Design

The highly anticipated iPhone 17 Pro design might be very different from what early leaks suggested. While most previous renders showed a bold two-tone rear with a large, differently-colored camera block, a new leak points to a cleaner, more refined single-tone finish.

This new iPhone 17 Pro render was shared by @kdctweets (via Phone Arena). Although the leaker doesn’t yet have a strong track record, the image gains weight due to a recent claim from highly trusted Apple insider Mark Gurman. According to Gurman—who is well known for accurate Apple predictions—the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are unlikely to feature the rumored two-tone design.

From a design perspective, the shift to a unified color could make the iPhone 17 Pro look more premium and seamless. While some users may prefer the sleek and minimalistic approach of the single-tone style, others might miss the unique contrast that a two-tone finish provides.

It’s also worth noting that, even if the rear appears to have a uniform shade, subtle differences may still exist due to material variation. The updated camera block is rumored to be made of metal, while the rest of the rear could still use glass. This might result in slight differences in texture or light reflection—despite similar colors.

Apple is expected to officially reveal the iPhone 17 lineup, including the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, in September 2025. Until then, we’re likely to see more iPhone 17 leaks and renders showing off possible design directions.
