Actor Atul Parchure Passes Away at 57 After Battle with Cancer

Renowned Marathi actor Atul Parchure, known for his appearances on The Kapil Sharma Show, passed away on October 14 at the age of 57 after battling lung cancer. Parchure, who had previously survived cancer, succumbed to complications related to the illness. Although the official cause of his death has not been disclosed, sources close to the family confirmed that he passed away earlier today. He is survived by his mother, wife, and daughter, who have requested privacy as they mourn their loss.

Actor Supriya Pilgaonkar shared an emotional tribute to Parchure on Instagram, writing, “You fought a lot! You have tolerated a lot. Your silly smile will be missed forever. May your soul rest in peace, and may your family find the strength to withstand this loss.”

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also expressed his condolences on Instagram, calling Atul Parchure “a clever actor” who touched audiences with both laughter and tears. He wrote, “The premature death of introspective class actor Atul Parchure is painful. He left a lasting impression in drama, film, and television series. His loss is irreplaceable. I pay tribute to him on behalf of the state government.”
